Associate Director, Performance Analytics

Role

This is a full-time employee position of Associate Director, Performance Analytics in our Chicago office. This role directly reports to the VP, Performance Analytics and works closely with them to steer GainShare's strategic vision in data-driven marketing performance solutions. Our mission is to amplify our agency’s dominance in the ever-evolving data-driven performance marketing landscape.

The Performance Analytics team collaborates with both our Toronto and Chicago cross-functional marketing teams, ensuring alignment in offering top-tier services to our North American client base. The role is pivotal in shaping broader integrated media and marketing strategies, partnering across Media – Account – Operations – Creative teams, and fostering direct relationships with Clients.

A hallmark of this role is the ability to envision, communicate, and ensure execution of data-driven strategies that generate actionable insights for internal & client stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the department’s strategic vision in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Lead the analytics team, encouraging innovative approaches to data analysis and insight generation.
  • Develop key performance indicators and metrics that align with client business objectives.
  • Forge strong relationships with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on analytics-driven strategies.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and methodologies to keep ahead of market trends.

Required Experience

  • University degree or college graduate in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, related quantitative discipline, or the equivalent hands-on experience in Marketing or Marketing Analytics fields
  • 7+ years of experience working with data, reporting and analysis in a quantitative business environment
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional presentation skills
  • In-depth familiarity with digital advertising platforms and ad servers such as Facebook, Google Ads, DV360, and Campaign Manager

  • Salary: competitive salary negotiable
